A little about me:
I was born and raised in...HOUSTON, TEXAS!!!  As a youngster I played many sports including soccer, football, baseball and swimming.  Growing up, my favorite subjects in school were Math, Social Studies, and English.  After graduating High School, I attended Houston Community College and got my Associate's Degree in General Studies.  After receiving my Associates Degree, I attended The University of Saint Thomas in Houston where I got my Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy.  During and after college, I worked for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston.  I also enjoyed volunteering with different youth groups, especially, mission trips to South Texas.  I worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for seven years before returning to work with the youth and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made!
I have been an educator at Conroe ISD for five years and I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MY THIRD YEAR AT CRYAR INTERMEDIATE FOR THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR!

Some of my favorite quotes:
"Genius without education is like silver in the mine"---Benjamin Franklin
"Tell me and I forget.  Teach me and I remember.  Involve me and I learn"---Benjamin Franklin
"The doors of wisdom are never shut"---Benjamin Franklin
"We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community...Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, and for our own."---Cesar Chavez
