*We are working very hard on listening skills...I am spending lots of time to get the children to stop what they are doing completely while I give directions.
*  Look for their Tuesday folder to come home every Tuesday, please take out the graded papers, sign the conduct communication and return the folder with your child on Wednesday.
* On the assignments we are working on, I am encouraging the students to remember Quality Work......what should the assignment look like?  Have they followed directions?  Is their name on the paper?  Have they used capital letters appropriately and correct punctuation?  Their grade will be effected if any of the above guidelines are missing.
*  Please contact me by email or phone with any questions..and rest assured that I will be in touch with you too.

I am so excited to be your child's Language Arts and Social Studies teacher this year!  You are going to LOVE Cryar and LC 1. The best way to contact me is through email and I hope to communicate with you that way too. However, if email is not an option for you, please leave a message in the office and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Please access my site regularly to check our Class Calendar and Homework Assignments. I will do my best to keep it up to date.

We have already started to complete assignments and turn them in. As a class we are talking a lot about QUALITY WORK. We are working on the students asking themselves:
Is the assignment Neat?
Is the assignment Detailed?
Is the assignment Complete?
Was the assignment Done on Time?
and if necessary.....Is it colorful?
When work comes home in the Tuesday Folder this week .......if your child lost points, it is probably because they failed to ask themselves the above questions. We will continue to work on it at school, but please talk to your child about QUALITY WORK.
