Class Expectations:
Questions: Students are to raise his/her hands when asking questions or needing assistance
Turning in Assignments: Students are to place assignments in appropriate baskets
Late Work: Late work will be accepted with points deducted
Giving Teacher Your Attention: Students will get quiet immediately when teacher rings a bell
Visitors: Students are to continue working and keep noise level low when a visitor is in the room
Restrooms:  Students are to sign out, place the pass on their desk
Lunch: Students will keep noise level low during lunch and will not be throwing objects
Absences: Students are responsible for getting work from teacher when absense
Lining Up: Students will line up quickly and quietly
Materials: Students are responsible for bringing all needed materials to class each day
Substitute Teacher: Students will be on best behavior when there is a substitute teacher
Entering/Exit Classroom: Students will enter/exit classroom quickly and quietly

Computer Rules
1. Students will not get on any website that is not approved by Mrs. Trippel (if you are not sure just ask!)
2. Students will not listen to music while working on computers.
3.Students need to earphones to listen to anything on the computer.
4. Students need to use their computer time wisely.
5. Students who do not follow rules will NOT have computer time.

About Me
        My name is Paula Trippel and I will be your child's teacher Language Arts/Social Studies for the 2015-2016 school year.  I am looking forward to a great year at Cryar Intermediate.  I am excited to have the wonderful opportunity to teach your child 6th grade.  Please feel free to contact anytime about your child.  Communication between parents and teacher is a very important key to successful learning.    

        I am from the Beaumont, Texas area.  I graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.  I worked as a social worker in the area before moving to Louisiana.  While in Louisiana I attended Southeastern Louisiana University where I obtained my Masters of Teaching.  I am married and have one child.
